POLICE OFFICER

 The Sabattus Police Department is accepting applications for a full-time Police Officer. 

 Applicants must:

·        have a high school diploma or equivalent                            ·        have passed the M.C.J.A. Alert test

·        completed the 100-hour pre-service school                        ·        be able to pass a Physical Agility Test

·        complete a full background check.

Sabattus offers a generous benefit package to include competitive wages and up to 8 Yr Lateral Entry Credit to MCJA graduates.

A complete Sabattus Police Dept. application is required! A Résumé may be included but MAY NOT be submitted    in place of our application.

Applications may be picked up at the Sabattus Police Department, 190 Middle Road, Sabattus, ME, (M-F) from 8am-4pm. or you can download one from our website, www.sabattus.org , click on the Police Department page and select the On-line Police Forms. Applications will be received until Monday, January 26, 2009 

Preference will be given to applicants who are M.C.J.A. graduates.
