Donald Gensure moved to Sabattus in 1950. Don served on the Board of Selectmen from 1954 through 1972 (18 yrs) and served as its Chairman and Town Constable for (9) of those years. During this period the Chair person also served as the Town Constable which made him one of the early Law Enforcement officers of Sabattus). Don still resides here in Sabattus with his wife Catherine.
