Motion to accept the Selectmen Meeting Minutes of
December 19th as written made by Selectman Steve Wood and seconded by Selectman
Mark Duquette.
Three in Favor.
Gino Camardese abstained as he was absent the previous meeting.
Department Heads:
Thomas Fales, Police Chief-Had a computer
technician come in today to look at the
main printer for the office. It is
an old printer and is no longer working. It is something that the Police
Department cannot do without. Requests permission to buy a new printer for not
more than $700.00.
Motion to allow Chief Fales to purchase a printer for
no more than $700.00 made by Selectman Steve Wood and seconded by Selectman
Gino Camardese.
All in Favor.

to accept the Treasurer’s Report as read made by Selectman Steve Wood and
seconded by Selectman Mark Duquette.

Reconciliation, continued from
The
$38,735.06 variance was due to a November direct deposit being reported on the
December statement.

4. Requesting Employee pay
increase/6 month step increase, Office clerk I employee/position-from $10.82 to $11.00
effective December 26th.
Motion
to allow the pay increase made by Selectman Gino Camardese and seconded by
Selectman Steve Wood.

James
Wood, Road Commissioner-Big air compressor broke down on Saturday. Not sure if it can be fixed or need to buy a new one. The Board
also compliments James Wood and his crew for the excellent job they have done
this weekend in maintaining the roads.
Jerry
Sabins, Transfer Station-
1. Requesting to spend $1,750.00
for new side rails on trash packer-Actually needs $1,740.00 and
would like to schedule with Pat Cyr to get it done. This will be paid
out of the Equipment Account.
Motion to allow Jerry Sabins to
expend $1,740.00 for new side rails on the trash compactor with Pat Cyr made by
Selectman Mark Duquette and seconded by Selectman Gino Camardese.

Robert
Gayton Jr.- points
out that item number three on the Town Administrator’s Agenda was overlooked.
Tracy replies that the draft will be ready by Tuesday, January 9th.

Appoint 9 member of the search
committee, for town manager position. The Board signed the appointment papers for Gino Camardese,
Donald D’Agostino, William Fessenden, Robert Gayton Jr., Hon. Scott Lansley,
Normand LaPlante, Amedeo Lauria, Paul Wayne Loesberg and Steve Wood. They will
meet next Monday to start the search for Town Manager.
3.
Review Ordinances and possible
implementation of new ordinances, set a date/time for review process
with Board, Department Heads, CEO and Gary Simard, Auburn Fire Protection
Officer to attend. Invitation to Mr. Simard will be sent after January 1st.
This will stay on the Agenda.
4.
New Road Foreman Position, Job Description

New Business:
1.
Memo with Letter from Assessor, Donna
Hays – Taxpayer Notices- She would like to do a
mass mailing to all taxpayers, informing
them of options to reduce their tax burden before the
revaluation is implemented. The total
cost would be around $940.00 but the Tax Collector, Rani
Allard, is working on a way to do a
bulk mailing which would reduce the cost.
Motion to mail at bulk rate not to exceed $500.00 and if more
to come back to the Board made by Selectman Gino Camardese and seconded by
Selectman Steve Wood.
