Motion to accept the Selectmen’s Minutes of August 29, 2006 as written made by
Selectman Gino Camardese and seconded by Selectman Bill Henshaw.
Four in Favor. Selectman Steve Wood was not present at last week’s meeting
DEPARTMENT HEADS:
Thomas Fales, Police Chief-Presented pictures to the Board of speed
limit signs with orange flags
attached in an effort of slowing down traffic.
Tax years 2004 thru 2006, Delinquent Taxes Outstanding as of 09/01/06
is $140,562.26
Delinquent Taxes collected from 08/28/06 to 09/01/06 was $3,569.27.
Motion to accept the Treasurer’s Report as read made by Selectman Gino Camardese
and seconded by Selectman Steve Wood.

Don Therrien, Fire Chief-Department Head Limit of Spending-
requesting to raise it from $500.00 to $750.00- Continued from 8/29/06. Discussion followed- Department Heads were
told that in case of an emergency a phone call to

from the Floor:
Don Therrien, Fire Chief – requests for a third party be present
during the Executive Session with the Board. Chair Guy Desjardins lets him know
that this is not an issue.

Owner of Mixers-
Wants feed back on the changes he has made to his business. He is told by all
present that things seem to be going a lot better.
Gino Camardese, Selectman- Brings up that on the 23rd
of September an 8th grade school teacher, Mrs. Aimee N. Lanteigne
is being presented by the Department of Maine American Legion the Department of
Maine 2006 Educator of the Year Award.
Ron Caron 1St Vice Commander of the Sabattus American Legion
Post 135 would like to requests that someone from the Town attend and give a
speech. Chair Guy Desjardins will let him know in the next few days on who will
attend.

power point projector on September 10th made by Selectman Bill
Henshaw and seconded by Selectman Steve Wood.
